French voice in iOS app issue

I am using anki to learn french on my iphone.

  1. the voice in ios app does not match the ones i choose in desktop app and does not change whein i change voices there.
  2. not matching the default voice in ios even.
  3. does not read properly (does not make the liaison) although the it is reading well in mac and android.
    Any ideas?

Each device has access to different TTS services/voices. You can use the tts-voices command in your card template to see what voices are available on that device, and then edit your list of voices. See: Field Replacements - Anki Manual
