Over half of my A Level flashcards have disappeared after update and my exam is literally tomorrow!

There hasn’t been a recent release of AnkiMobile, so I’m not sure whether this is actually related to an update. But if something seems like it’s gone missing, the solutions are the same regardless.

  • :gear: Preferences > Check Database – might recover something if it was lost in a database error.
  • Restore an automatic backup on your device – Restoring an Automatic Backup (Recovering from Data Loss) - Anki FAQs . [You’ll lose anything that you’ve done since that backup was created, but 30 minutes at the most.]
  • Force a one-way sync to get the version of your collection from AnkiWeb, or from another device that hasn’t synced yet. [You’ll lose anything that you’ve done since the last time you synced AnkiMobile with AnkiWeb.]
