-flag showing entries with no flags

How could I debug a case where browser -flag:1 (2,3,5) shows all cards even if inspecting the cards they do not show having any flag set? This with both Cards and Notes view.

Oddly -flag:0 shows no entries. Latest Anki desktop/MacOSX. Hate to open up an sqlite editor and remove possible hidden flag info… And rebuilding the database didn’t help.

Ah, -tag but flag when searching. Different syntax. Case solved.

PS: This tricked me, the default search for untagged entries

-tag:_*
