Fields are not showing up in my iOS Anki app

I am using the Dope anatomy card deck, which has many cards with an Occluded Image diagram and multiple fields relating to different parts of the diagram. The cards show up fine on my computer desktop app and on AnkiWeb, but not on my iPad app. The photo shows, but not text to tell me which field is being asked for.

I’ve tried logging out and re-syncing, but not luck. What else can I do?

The deck author has forced specific colours, which prevent the text from appearing in night mode. If you click on Cards… in the edit screen of Anki, and replace all the styling with the following, it should show correctly in both light and dark mode:

.card {
font-size: 18px;
text-align: center;
}

You may want to copy the old text somewhere in case you wish to restore parts of it in the future.
