It would be helpful if I could just click the new “update all presets” for fsrs optimization and also optimize my recommended learning steps for each deck option based on the fsrs addon so I don’t have to do it manually.

I’m not sure it’s a good idea to blur the line between optimizing for your long-term memory curve, which FSRS does quite well, and digesting a table of information back to you as historical percentages, which is all the add-on’s step suggestions are. FSRS doesn’t have a model for near-term memory, so it can’t “optimize” your steps the way it does the rest of your study intervals. What the Helper add-on does there is useful, but different than memory-curve modeling.
The step suggestions are also happening in the add-on, unlike parameter optimization, which is built-in to Anki. Not everyone has the add-on, so “Optimize All Presets” couldn’t include that functionality anyway.
