Editing the note resets the timer

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable the timer from the deck options.
  2. Open the study screen.
  3. Wait for a bit.
  4. Edit the note and change some fields.

Actual behavior

The timer resets to 0.

Expected behavior

The timer should not stop unless the maximum answer seconds limit was reached, or in case the “Stop on-screen timer on answer” is enabled, the answer is shown.

Additional remarks

  • According to me from ~5 months ago, this issue didn’t exist before.
  • AnkiDroid doesn’t have this issue with the new study screen v2.23.0alpha4.

Additional Info: The card info records the time correctly. So it appears to be an issue with the on screen timer only.
