I would like to configure cards in the format: Front: English - Back: Italian
But it seems like the Duplicate Alarm (when entering the card) is only working for the front side? I want to get a reminder if the back side (Italian) is a duplicate.
How can I activate a Duplicate Alarm for the back side of cards?
Anki checks only the first field, so you should configure “Italian” as the first field, and then set your notetype as:
Front: English - Back: Italian
(Remember that the first field can be on the back side of your cards and viceversa)
You can also find duplicates manually by using the find duplicates feature
