I have tried and failed to download anki on my iMac using Catalina os. Each time using diff browsers I receive this message:

It seems that some of the files in your Anki data folder are not writable.
The installation file (on your desktop: Anki) is still mounted. You need to open it and move the Anki icon to your program folder. Then unmount the installation file (drag it to the bin) and start Anki from your program folder.
Thank you… what I did is just removed everything anki from the computer and downloaded a fresh program… that worked! I appreciate the quick responses.
