Didn't receive verification email. I can't synchronise now

I recently started reviewing cards with Anki again, but Anki Droid, aswell as AnkiWeb tell me I should have received a verification email, to enable syncing again. However I didn’t receive anything and I never before have received any email from Anki. The email-address is definitely right and existing. Do you know, what to do?
