Hello, im not sure if this is the correct place to write this so apologies in advance. A couple days ago while taking an mcat full lenght my computer fried and apparently there is no repair. The issue is that in my anki account I had profile 1 which was signed in to my account but I decided to also make a profile 2 because I wanted to study using Mr.Pankow deck which had repeating tags with my main deck and so when I would transport the cards well not all the cards would show up in the deck so I decided to make a profile 2 and import the pankow deck there and it worked fine for months because i could study each profile everyday but the issue is that i was never abale to log into the second account because then both profiles would mix and the cards would be removed from the pankow because they were duplicates of a subdeck from the main deck. So two days ago when my computer was damaged, I lost that second account and all my progress and I wanted to ask if there was any way that I could localize that account profile and get my progress back. I’m pretty sure it’s impossible but I’ve tried everything else and 100% the computer is gone and data can’t even be extracted from it because its a macbook. Let me know if there is anything that can be done.
If you never synched your second profile with the cloud or manually copied information from it anywhere, that data never left your computer.
Eltaurus is right – if you never synced that profile to an AnkiWeb account, we never had any of the data from that collection, and there’s no way for us to help you restore it.
