Degrees symbol not working on front of card

Hi, I’m having trouble displaying the degrees symbol using MathTex on the front of the card. When I enter it, it shows OK in the “Front” section in “Add”, but when displaying it (either in Browse > Preview or when using the deck), it shows as “\degree” instead of the degrees symbol. However, it does show correctly in the “Front” panel in “Browse” (just not Preview). Other MathTex works without a problem.

I have an example deck containing one card. Is there a way to attach it to this post?

Can you reproduce the issue on the latest Anki version?

Hi, yes it does happen in 2.1.54 Qt5.
