On 2.1.54, opening the deck options is instant, I’d guess sub 50ms. On 2.1.62 it takes a comparatively massive amount of time (well over a second). What happened? Rendering a couple of buttons locally with QT should never take this long, unless you’re doing something unholy.
They’re both sub-second for me. My guess is the latest version is a little slower because it’s waiting for rendering to complete before it reveals the window, which avoids a bright flash/flicker as the page loads, especially on night mode.
