out of nowhere this error appeared when i opened anki and tried to browse a deck, any deck really this message shows up, sometimes it shows up like constantly in repetition and doesnt stop and it wont let me close anki so i have to restart my pc. nothing changed from yesterday to today, didnt install any new addons or did anything out of the ordinary. soooo how do i fix this? thanks.
im on desktop btw
- Does it occur if you do Troubleshooting - Anki Manual as well? Especially in safe mode?

Checking Database and then Downloading from AnkiWeb fixed the issue. Why did it happen in the first place though, I literally didn’t do anything different, how can I prevent it from happening again? Thanks btw
I don’t know if anyone has been able to track a specific cause or steps to reproduce this. The best suggestion is to periodically run a Check Database, especially after making significant changes to your database. When you see something unexpected, the Troubleshooting Checklist (link above) is usually the best place to start.
Is there any chance you could DM me a backup/export which is impacted by this bug?
I’d like to get this resolved on the AnkiDroid side and need a reproduction case.
