It will be possible to use the function to import the cards (example: CSV) and use a field to define the deck where the cards are inserted.
Similar to the tag field, but for the deck.

What exactly is the screenshot showing?
I can see “Import” at the left of the title bar.
But when I do
File > Import
on myAnki, I see a File Manager window, with a list of .colpkg files which presumably I can import.
What is the significance of the red arrows ?
Thanks

@OldGrantonian cjdduarte is suggesting adding a feature that allows specifying the deck the notes will be imported to in the imported text/CSV file instead of using the deck chooser, in a format like this:
front1 back2 deck_name1
front1 back2 deck_name2
...
.
Wow. You divined that just from the screenshot?
Does that window currently exist in Anki? Or is it just a mock-up from a GUI designer, with no code behind ?
I’m aware that “Duarte” do presentations.
Thanks
.
It’s shown when choosing a text file in File > Import.
that’s right
