Custom study broken? New & review cards mixed up

This is what happens to me currently: I want to increase the daily new card limit and study (say, 10) more new cards. However, Anki gives me (10) more new review cards instead.

See example:

  • initial status: 0 new, 0 learning, 4 to review

  • open custom study, check available cards: 49 new cards available, 66 review cards available

  • in custom study, increase new cards by 10:

  • result: 0 new, 0 learning, 14 to review (i.e., custom study added 10 review cards instead of 10 new cards!)

Can someone reproduce this error?

Most likely, this is due to the setting:
New cards ignore review limit

Thanks, pretty sure that was it.

Funny that I never noticed this problem before.

For later reference, enabling New cards ignore review limit solved this.
