Changed edit behavior in 2.1.47 no longer allows cards to repeat immediately

Sometimes I would like to repeat a card immediately after showing the answer. Previously (2.1.44), I could do this by editing and then pressing escape. The front of the card would then show and I could do it again.

That behavior seems to have changed with 2.1.47. Is that correct? Is there an add-on that allows a card to be repeated immediately?

You can flip the current card in the reviewer by pressing S twice.
