And just to be clear, I’m not saying sorting by Difficulty should correlate perfectly with sorting by Lapses, but they should have a very strong correlation based on the formula (given you are comparing cards within the same preset).
Though, that would be less true for people who use the Easy button more loosely.

I happily use Hard when appropriate [per Answer Buttons, I use it about 18% overall], so I wouldn’t be surprised if those D-100%-0-lapses cards have a number of Hard grades.
Nobody’s saying you’re doing anything wrong. Just trying to figure out the discrepancy. The Hard button acts like a mini lapse, so that would make sense. The point is that’s how Difficulty works in the formula.
Not only is that sorting method useful for deprioritizing cards that have given you the most trouble, but cards that have a lower Difficulty score will boost their stability more when you get them right. So you’re kinda optimizing for lowering your long-term overall daily load.
Is there a way I can extract a list of the numbers from a subset of cards myself? I can’t just copy/paste them on the browse window, otherwise I could easily make the graph myself in python or R. Well, I guess that wouldn’t work because they are rounded in the browse window, is there a way to extract the actual numbers?
Ok, I did get it to install, and it did zoom in, but the graph wasn’t matching the numbers in my Browse window.
Appreciate you trying. This is probably becoming more work than it’s worth. It really should just be the default for the main Difficulty graph, or at least have a “Zoom to fit” button.
Unless you are stacking multiple histograms for a comparison, creating a histogram with all data displayed in a single bin would get you an F on your statistics homework. I think the powers-that-be disagree though, so I’ll let it go.
