I have set the ffsr to a retention rate of 91% but currently I am at 82% (it’s been more than 3 months now)
Is there anything I can do?

What is “at 82%”? Are you asking about the Card Difficulty graph you posted, or your retention results?
my retention results
Okay, so your desired retention is 91%, but you’re getting 82% retention from that? Sure, let’s look a few more things –
here they are:
It looks like your retention before FSRS was low – 78-80% – so raising your retention to 91% is a heavy lift. To do that, FSRS will need to schedule your cards much more often than you had been seeing them. Looking at your Stats, your Ave. Stability is 15d, but your Ave. Interval is 1.1 months – which says that your cards are still scheduled for much longer intervals than FSRS would schedule them.
Your Ave. Retrievability is 90% – meaning that half of your cards have lower Retrievability than that. And since you don’t have a significant backlog, that suggests that FSRS has only been able to touch about half your cards in the past 3 months since you turned it on (or perhaps since you made another change like optimizing your parameters or increasing your desired retention).
[You can verify that by searching rated:90
to see the cards you’ve studied in the past 90d. Does that search return about 350 of your 700 active cards?]
Have you run Evaluate on your parameters? What is your RMSE (and based on how many reviews)?
When was the last time you re-Optimized your parameters? – If it’s been a month, run Optimize again, and then check your RMSE for that new set of parameters as well.
Have you “rescheduled” your cards since turning FSRS on? – I suspect you haven’t, and that’s good, because it’s not recommended when you switch FSRS on for the first time. But because you’re trying to increase your retention so much, you really need FSRS to get its scheduling-hands on those cards.
If you ran “reschedule all cards” right now (through the FSRS Helper add-on, which I recommend) – I expect that will give you a backlog of at least 350 cards. That sounds “bad” – but those are cards that FSRS really wants you to study, so it would be good study them.
I think that’s what you’ll need to make some advancements in your retention. So try it – click “reschedule all cards” under that add-on in the Tools menu. You should immediately see more cards on your green counter. But you’ll also see differences in your Review Intervals Stats – that average should be lower than your Stability. If you don’t like the look of that, click Edit > Undo to put things back.
If you want to avoid the burden of digging out of a backlog, there’s an alternative that I’ve used to prepare for a big change (like increasing DR, or rescheduling to new parameters) – it means grabbing those potential backlog cards and studying them before doing the reschedule. It’s the same amount of work, but you don’t have a backlog staring at you the whole time. [I can explain how to do that with a Filtered deck if you’re interested.]
Thank you for the great explanation!
With this deck I have almost always used FSRS, but recently (I’m not sure if it’s been a month or less, it could be even a week) I have optimized the parameters.
About point 1, I’m not sure I have done that correctly since when I search it inside the deck I get 1124 cards:
this is the output of the evaluation: Log loss: 0.4440, RMSE(bins): 7.08%. Smaller numbers indicate a better fit to your review history. With 18221 reviews
If I press optimize again nothing change (output is: “The FSRS parameters currently appear to be optimal.” Probably it was much less than a month from the last optimize then?)
I think the last time I have optimized the parameters I have activated the button “reschedule cards on change” but I’m not sure
rated:90 -is:new -is:suspended
?My bad, I searched when inside the deck but the filter wasn’t automatically on, by using: "deck:Kaishi 1.5k" rated:90
I got 692 cards.
After Rescheduling with the addon you suggested me I got 240 green cards, not that bad.
Ill also read the manual about that addon.
Thank you for your help!
