Can't update my Anki-addon despite logging in

After logging into my account on AnkiWeb I can see here the addon that I shared earlier:

https://ankiweb.net/shared/mine

But when I click on my addon I don’t see the buttons to update it to a new version that were previously there.

This bug occurs both in Brave and in Edge.

If you created the add-on and are using the account you created it with, then it should show up there.

It’s probably a common caching issue:

I noticed AnkiWeb started to cache things more in the recent frontend update, so the Update button may not appear immediately after you log in and you need to refresh the page (while holding Ctrl to disable caching) for the button to appear.

@eroscard I agree that it should be there, but it doesn’t show up.

@abdo You mean client side caching? That seems rather unlikely as the issue persisted after a hard refresh, incognito mode and logging in in another browser. But server side caching could definitely be the reason. I remember I had the same issue at least once before and reported it directly to Damien years ago.

Edit: Just logged in on my smartphone. Here it worked.

Yes, a hard refresh used to fix the issue for me and some users in the past, but could be some server side caching this time.
