Can't Import Files

Hello,
Whenever I try and import new files I get the message “Unable to read file. It probably requires a newer version of Anki to import”. I have the newest version of anki and have tried restarting Anki, opening Anki holding down “shift”, deleting and redownloading Anki, and clearing my add-ons.

What kind of file are you trying to import?

Make sure this option is not enabled. The Special Fields add-on used to enable it.
