I am having a problem with the voice recorder. Every time I try to use it anki crashes and looking at the logs I get
Qt info: Using Qt multimedia with FFmpeg version n8.0 GPL version 3 or later
Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I am using arch linux and I my gpu is amd not nvidia if that helps
What’s your Anki version and how did you install it?
You might have luck setting the QT_MEDIA_BACKEND env variable as explained here:
Try gstreamer.
I found the solution. Anki only crashes If I have my bluetooth headset connected and audio profile set to A2DP and it does not crash if it is set to HSP.
