I’m using Anki 23.10 with FSRS and have a deck structure organized by importance levels (lv1a, lv1b, lv1c), each with different target retention rates. Level 1a is for cards I want to remember best.
My workflow issue:
I import new cards from a shared deck
Review the card and want to tag it with lv1a/lv1b/lv1c based on importance
Move it to the corresponding subdeck
!!! problem here.
Problem: After moving the card, I can’t rate it (good/bad/etc.), anki move on to the next card. so my initial review for that card isn’t recorded
Is there a way to move cards between subdecks while preserving the ability to rate them on first review? Or should I change my workflow somehow?
likely still work with FSRS,
i installed it on 23.10+FSRS, it can still rate the card good/bad/again by inspecting the info of the card.
shd help.
thanks
not sure the addon will work with fsrs though.

How does this work with FSRS? I don’t believe cards go through the Learning vs. Reviewing phases anymore since FSRS basically recommends “learning steps” <1d in settings

Feel free to experiment with it. For the time being we have this note in our guide Setting up Anki
^-- this guide is written well before the FSRS era it claim FSRS is unmature at that moment.
