Can Anki on macOS support importing UTF-16 tsv files?

Microsoft Excel support exporting tables (TSVs) in UTF-16 only.

I can not use CSV because I use a lot of commas in my text, also because microsoft excel does not support anki comments header when using CSV, but when using TSV anki gets to see the Anki Headers and not treat them as entries…

You can import text with a lot of commas – by including quotation marks as needed, or switching to a different separator character. Text Files - Anki Manual

I don’t think that’s accurate, so that might be a separate formatting issue you’re having getting the file out of Excel (see the link). I’ve imported text/CSV files with headers into Excel just fine .
