hi,
99% of my flashcards consist of foreign language vocabulary. I would like to add sound automatically (as there are more than 40000 cards) to them. does anyone know how to do that ?
thank you !

There is HyperTTS - Add speech to your flashcards and AwesomeTTS - Add speech to your flashcards
HyperTTS is a new addon from the maintainer of AwesomeTTS and Language Tools. It is inspired by AwesomeTTS, but rewritten from scratch. It has all the same features as AwesomeTTS.
What’s new compared to AwesomeTTS? Watch Video: HyperTTS vs AwesomeTTS Voices from all services are displayed together. Much easier to listen to sound samples. Much easier to experiment with text processing rules. Easier addition of sound from the editor, with a single button click. Ogg support.
Both should work on 24.11
If you are interested in TTS – as opposed to recorded native-speaker audio – you should start with Anki’s built-in TTS functionality – Field Replacements - Anki Manual .
If you would prefer an add-on, or you need a great variety of TTS services/voices – HyperTTS is the newer of the 2 add-ons, and they are both from the same dev – so I’d recommend that over Awesome.
I’m sorry, I don’t think I understand the difference between TTS and add-ons.
Built-in TTS uses Anki’s own functionality, and whatever TTS voices are available on your device, to read text as it is displayed.
These particular add-ons provide access to additional TTS services/voices (some free, some paid), and give you the option to have the text read as it is displayed, or to generate the TTS reading as an attached mp3 file in advance.
Both of those options are TTS, not native-speaker voices.
