Auto-Capitalize-Feature in iOS

Anki has in its iOS app own settings for the Auto-Capitalize-Feature.

I constantly disable that and after a while it’s again enabled by itself.

Does Anki somehow correspond here with the general iOS-Keyboard-Settings, when there autocapitalization is enabled?

But if so, what would the Anki feature be for, when it wouldn’t work independently?

The setting is stored in your collection config, and should get synced to your other devices when you change it. If you restore from a backup or making concurrent changes on another device, you may end up reverting it.
