Any problem if Win10 use qt6, while CB use qt5 of linux desktop anki? thx

hi,
my arm CB is using debian v11.6 bullseye,
i found that qt6 NA for it. (see bottom)

i got 3-4 more win10 PCs already using v2.1.54 qt6,
is there any problem if this CB use v2.1.54 qt5?
of cause i will sync them thru the web.

thanks
ps: i’ll have the same set of addon’s on all of them if possible too.
i know some addon works on qt5 or qt6 or both or neither. thx

Debian -- Package Search Results -- webengine

Package python3-pyqt6.qtwebengine

  • bookworm (testing) (python): Python bindings for the Qt 6 WebEngine framework
    6.4.0-1: amd64 arm64 armhf i386
  • sid (unstable) (python): Python bindings for the Qt 6 WebEngine framework
    6.4.0-1: amd64 arm64 armhf i386

bookworm is the future version after bullseye,
i don’t understand why they have it for future version but not the CURRENT version.
sigh…

I’m not sure about Deb, but I use qt6 on mac and qt5 on windows without any problems when reviewing/using the scheduler, the only differences you will find in Linux and Windows (Qt5 vs Qt6 differences in each plataform)

don’t seem like you need it, but here are the installation instructions Via PyPI/pip, just remember to switch 5 to 6 if you wish for the qt6 version (You can install Alphas versions in this way)
