Ankiweb shared deck has less notes than desktop version?

I have shared my biology deck to ankiweb for public use, but the Ankiweb version only has 262 notes, while my desktop version has 314 notes. Any idea what happened to the others?

Hi, can you confirm you mean cards instead of notes? Are you using multiple card types? Please drop the link to the shared deck here

Your deck has 262 notes - some notes have more than 1 card.

Exactly what I was suspecting. Some cloze type template cards have multiple cards for one note. In Ankiweb the count is shown as notes, not cards. SOo only if all cards have just one card type the count will be the same.
