Thank you for contacting me in response to my message in the Google Play Store.
Unfortunately, I don’t speak English, so I’m using a translator to write this message.
I installed AnkiDroid on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 4G, but I can’t use it. When I open the app, a pop-up window appears with two options: “Wait” or “Close”. The app does not start.
I went through all the possible solutions with ChatGPT, and we could not find a way to solve the problem. One possible cause seems to be that HyperOS or Play Protect is blocking AnkiDroid on this phone.
AnkiDroid works normally on my Windows 11 computer, my tablet, and my old Huawei P9 Lite phone. The problem only occurs on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 4G.
Could you please look into this and let me know if there is a solution?
Thank you very much for your help!
I cannot provide the Debug Info because the app does not start. When I open AnkiDroid, the “Wait” or “Close” pop-up appears immediately, so I cannot access Settings → About.
It gets further than the Play Store version: I can reach the “Get Started / Sync from AnkiWeb” screen. However, the app then becomes unresponsive before I can grant file access.
The “App not responding” message appears, so I cannot complete the setup.
Úgy tűnik, hogy ezen a telefonon egyik AnkiDroid verzió sem tud elindulni.
Köszönöm a segítséged!
A 2.25.0beta1 Parallel.A verzió most eljutott a „The AnkiDroid works best with these permissions” képernyőig, majd ismét lefagyott.
Köszönöm szépen a segítséget! Most működik. Nem tudom, mit kapcsoltam be, mert több helyen is elfogadtam mindent, de kis időbe és több belépés után most működik, és lefrissített. Hálásan köszönöm!
