Ankiconnect Error

Hi. I use Anki 25.09.4 in Windows 10 and I receive an error about Ankiconnect add-ons when I open Anki:

“Failed to listen on port 8765. Make sure it is available and is not in use”.

Please help and guide me.

You should consult the add-on documentation and contact the add-on developer.

Try changing the default port from Tools > Add-ons > Config. If that doesn’t help, you might need to allow connections to the port from the Windows Firewall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9llH5_CON-Y

Thank you for your response and advice. What number do you think I should set the port to?

Try incrementing it by one a few times until something works (restart Anki after each try), then check firewall settings if that doesn’t help.
