@dae I Apologies for not updating here on the solution and wasting your time.
Solved by uninstalling the software through the control panel, restarting the computer and installing the software again.
I manage an anki user’s community and out of many installations this happened to two. Maybe should add it to the wiki.
Version 2.1.54 qt6.
