With the recent database format changes, I went to download one of the latest source tarballs for Anki and found out that it’s missing all of the Git submodule content. That’s not going to build! : )
I live on one of those bespoke operating systems (Void Linux), which is why I’m not using an upstream pre-built binary.
Ideally, it would be nice to have a long-term solution for making complete souce tarballs available. But in the mean time, since the last complete source tarball up on the downloads archive is 2.1.15, can somebody please upload a complete source tarball that supports the new database format.
