Anki resetting - how to fix?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to get my Anki to stop resetting back to 0 cards every day.
For example, yesterday (5/3) I studies 566 cards and I was hoping to continue using Anki this morning (5/4).
However, I noticed that when I opened the Anki app it shows I’ve done 0 cards today which is true. But how do I get Anki to stop resetting my cards back to 0 cards every day?

It looks like you haven’t synced your computer version with AnkiWeb since the end of Jan, so any changes you made on either device since that date will not have been transferred to your other device. Please check the sync preferences of the computer version, make sure automatic syncing is enabled, and see if you’re logged in. If you’re not, you’ll need to click on sync in the main window to set syncing up again. There is a good chance that syncing your computer version will require a one-way sync, which means you’ll need to decide whether you want to keep the data that is on your computer, or the data that is on your phone: Syncing with AnkiWeb - Anki Manual

Once you’ve sorted that issue out, if you’re still having trouble with card counts, could you please explain the issue in more detail? Each day the daily limits are reset, so typically the number of waiting cards next to each deck will increase at the start of a new day.
