Anki on mac crashing when adding new cards after update

Anki is crashing every 2-5 minutes when adding new cards. I recently updated to the most recent mac version. I have done all problem solving including restarting my computer, checking database, and resetting window size. I have sent reports to apple when the app crashes but there has been no resolution.

Mac version: Ventura 13.4.1
Anki version: 2.1.66

Do you have any utility programs running like Grammarly or text expansion programs? Does it happen if you switch to the Qt5 version of Anki?
