Anki Mac Desktop Crashes When Deleting & Multi-Selecting Cards

The Problem
When I open up the “Browse” tab and multi-select OR try to delete a card (Notes > Delete), the app completely shuts down and I get a crash report message.

What I’ve Done
I’ve done all the steps in the “When problems occur” page - I was using 2.1.64 and repeated the tests with 2.1.65 and it still crashes. I googled but no one else seems to have this specific issue and I can’t tell if other solutions would help. I’ve pasted the error message below.

What should I try next?

I resolved this by changing the prefs21.db file then importing my collection.

So if anyone else encounters this issue, export your collection first, rename the file, then import.

A simpler approach that also help: the reset window sizes button in the preferences screen.
