i recently updated the Anki App and i’m currently running on Version 2.1.56 (07fd88dd)i have a macbook air M1. i have also subscribed and installed AnkiHub for faster card updates from the Anking for Med School.
however, the app seems to lag a lot and i don’t know if downgrading to a more stable version would be better! please help.
Which add-ons did you use? have you updated them when you moved to 2.1.56?
did you downloaded the m1/m2 version? Anki-2.1.56-mac-apple-qt6.dmg should be the file name (the text in blue will download the file mentioned)
yes i have de m1/m2 version of anki! i actually tried downloading the intel one to see if that would help but it doesn’t even open up.
with the add-ons it says there is “no update available” so i guess they are up to date
Some M1 users have reported such problems, but I can’t seem to reproduce them here. You could try qt5 version to see if it works better for you.
