I recently came across an insightful discussion on the AnkiWeb forums regarding the iOS version’s compatibility with TLS 1.3. I’m curious to know if there are any plans to address this limitation and implement TLS 1.3 support in future Anki iOS updates. Self-hosted sync server iOS AnkiMobile error 9836

We won’t be able to support TLS 1.3 until the networking library we use supports it. In the mean time, if you’re putting a reverse proxy in front of a custom sync server, you’ll need to make it use TLS 1.2.
