The past two days when I attempt to select multiple cards under browse, the app force quits. I’m not sure what else to do I cannot unsuspend my cards because of this.
Check add-ons, they could be the source of this problem
I’ve tried said trouble shooting and the problem persists. I’m able to individually unsuspend a card but when i try to select more than one the app immediately closes out.
- Go to Help [or Anki] > About – click Copy Debug Info – paste that here when you respond.
- You started in safe mode and it didn’t help?
- You ran Check Database and it didn’t help?
- What changed 2 days ago? Did you update your version, install/update any add-ons, import any new decks, etc.?
- Run Anki from a terminal window using
console.bat
– then trigger the issue in Anki, and post whatever the output is from the terminal window.

- You’re running an Anki version that is about a year-and-a-half old. That wouldn’t ordinarily be a red-flag, but I can see that you also have an add-on that was updated very recently.

Hi, I have had the same issue today. My anki keeps force quitting when I select anything under browse after 3 seconds. I tried safe mode and it still happened. I clicked check database and it said I had cards that are due that need to be suspended. I have suspended everything. I am not sure why it says that. I then ran it again and it didn’t say that, but problem persists. I tried turning off and on my computer. I tried reinstalling the app. I deleted the add ons it said could have an issue and the most recent add on I had downloaded from last month. I tried the terminal window thing but don’t know how to follow the steps you sent on a mac? Thank you I would really appreciate your help.
- I’ve been using this version with no issues thus far and didn’t change anything that would have caused an issue to immerge. And yes that was my reddit post.

- I am subscribed to anking so i did not actively change anything but there may have been something added/changed via anking that i am unaware of
- im unsure of how to follow terminal window steps from mac. The first reply i made to your prompt was the debug info while the second reply is the mac report.
The app is even force quitting when i attempt to make it full screen.
I updated my anki from the website and that seemed to have fixed the problem. thank you for your help.
