Anki for making a MCQ bank

Hey everyone,

I know creating MCQs on Anki isn’t really the main purpose of the program, but Anki is so intuitive. With the AnkiHub integration, I could keep an MCQ bank updated without needing any extra coding or setup.

My plan is to make this a community-driven bank within my college, so multiple people can contribute and keep it growing.

Would you suggest any settings to reduce the effect of spaced repetition—so it mainly functions as an MCQ deck?

As for card type, I already have that figured out; I’ll be using the MCQ note type from AnKing.

Just don’t use it for spaced repetition but focus on filtered decks for individual review ( Filtered Decks - Anki Manual )

Multiple people contributing on the same level of content and style will be the hardest part, good luck nonetheless.

Yes Not for spaced repetition, I was thinking more about what If i make the learning step so big, then changing the settings (I read somewhere) to automatically suspend the card for that interval so mcqs are one time only.

MCQs are still the best for testing yourself, and with the help of the community, this bank will have good high-yield ones.
