Anki error across all platforms

I am having an error on all the anki platforms. I have read through and completed all the recommendations in Troubleshooting (Anki manual) to no avail. The error messages I get are as follows:

Mac (version 25.09)- “invalid params”

AnkiWeb- “Error: Something went wrong while processing your request. This is often caused by issues with your collection - please try the Check Database tool in one of the downloadable versions of Anki.” (I have tried the Check Database tool)

Anki iPhone- “invalid weight provided”

I deduce that this is an FSRS problem because having toggled FSRS off, Anki works perfectly

PS: Kudos to everyone on the forum. I spent a lot of time here trying to solve this error, and I am thoroughly impressed with all the effort you volunteers put in. Great job guys!

You need to re-optimize your parameters – at least for the one preset that is giving you that error. To make sure you get new parameters (and not an “already optimal” message), blank out the ones that are there first – then save – then optimize and save.

Usually I’d say to just optimize on one platform, and sync will take care of the rest. But you’re using an older version of AnkiMobile on iOS, and it might be the older parameters/FSRS version there that is the problem. I suggest updating that to the current version first. Then you can pick which device to do the optimization on, and make sure your device all get the same new parameters.

Great, that worked!
