Anki doesn't return to main page

does anyone know why Anki doesn’t return to main page after adding new cards? I have to close the app to be able to go back.

Which app are you talking about the? The desktop Anki app, AnkiDroid, or iOS AnkiMobile?

On AnkiDesktop, the add cards dialog opens in a new window.
