Anki desktop wont sync to web

I started using Ankiweb before using the desktop app. Ive now downloaded the desktop app but can’t seem to get it to sync. Ive looked at the forums but cant fix it.
In settings i have put the sync service to AnkiWeb but when i click sync it says ‘server aborted’.

Please help!

btw i have ankidroid and that synces fine

Could you attach a screenshot of the server aborted message you’re getting, with Anki in the background?
