Anki Desktop will not start (Linux)

When I attempt to run Anki from the Linux terminal, I receive the response “-bash: /usr/local/bin/anki: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error”. This will occur whether I install using my distro’s package manager or by downloading first the QT5 or QT6 package and installing according to the directions in the docs.

I’m running in the built-in Linux environment on a Chromebook in stock ChromeOS (Linux penguin 5.15.108-18910-gab0e1cb584e1)
Architecture: aarch64
CPU op-mode(s): 32-bit, 64-bit

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
