Anki desktop app is not working, not letting me add cards

Anki for Mac is not letting me add cards, and it doesn’t show any pictures. It doesn’t let me add new cards, the “statistics” and “options” buttons are not working. I’ve tried deleting, and reinstalling the app, restarting it with the shift button, restarting my laptop, downgrading the app, then reinstalling the latest version. The app is working fine on my phone(ios). Please, help!((((

i use 1.1.1.1, but not when opening anki

Not sure it will help, as you don’t appear to have a proxy enabled there. Maybe starting Anki from a terminal might reveal something - you can paste this into Terminal.app:

/Applications/Anki.app/Contents/MacOS/AnkiMac
