Anki crash when creating new cards or browse

My Anki keeps crashing when I am making new cards. It is the same problem as in this post: “Anki constantly crashing making cards”. I have tried all of the things they did as well as those in the “Troubleshooting - Anki Manual”. My Anki Version is Version ⁨24.04 (429bc9e1)⁩
Python 3.9.18 Qt 6.6.2 PyQt 6.6.1.

What you describe doesn’t sound the same, since theirs was only on note creation for a particular type of notes.

I know you said you already did everything in the checklist, but did you do a full restart with all add-ons disabled? Really, because that’s the most likely solution.

Version 24.04 only came out a few days ago – so you must have updated only recently. If you use any add-ons – did you check to make sure they are compatible with 24.04?

Even if you are certain add-ons aren’t the problem - you should probably post a list of them (Help > About > Copy Debug Info), just in case anyone has advice about working with them.

Then you can also explain exactly what you’re doing when Anki crashes.
If you’re adding a note, what type?
For the browse window, is it when you open the window or when you do something particular in the window?

It has crashed when I create a note with “Cloze-AnKingMaster” and it has crashed when I have used "AnKingOverhaul (AnKing / AnKingMed). I haven’t tried other note types. It has only closed on me once when browsing, though the majority of my time has been creating notes not browsing. I have disabled add-ons and restarted.

It crashes usually after I create 2-3 notes.

The other thing I see in common between those 2 templates is “AnKing” – have you checked with those folks about whether there are issues with their templates?

What Anki version (approximately, if that’s the best you know) did you upgrade from?

Plenty of those add-ons could be problematic

Just to be clear – the crash still happens with all add-ons disabled, not just “all except ankihub”?

You say you’ve tried all troubleshooting steps - you did reset window sizes too? You tried changing your video driver? Do you run any third-party utilities like a clipboard manager, grammarly, etc?
