Anki Cards Changing Decks Randomly

Good day,
I’ve been using Anki for a few years now, and its great. I have a lot of hours of changing cards between decks under my belt. I use my Ipad pro 12.9 mainly. Recently I noticed the following bug:
Let say I have a deck named “deck 1”. Then I have subdecks 1, 2, and 3 under deck 1 (like subfolders), each with specific or different cards.
Now lets say I do the following:
Deck 1 > browse > select all > change deck > click on back

After doing so, meaning that no new deck was selected to transfer the cards to, all of the cards in deck 1 get condensed to one of the subdecks 1-3 randomly. I have been able to replicate this consistently. I believe this happens also even if I don’t select “select all”.

Hopefully this is clear enough.
I believe the version is 24.11

Thank you for the report. This happens because it’s pre-selecting the existing deck of one of the cards, and when you close the screen, it’s being treated as a request to select that deck. I’ve added this to the todo list, but it may take a while to get to I’m afraid.
