I’m trying to sync the program from my laptop with the Anki server, but it’s not working. I’ve tried reinstalling it. It looks like the problem is global. I tried it at work (different ISP, different computer), and it’s still not working. The message is: Connection timed out, try connecting through a different network. Please help. (I’m from Russia).
Recent reports suggest that internet connections to the Ankiweb server might be blocked in the geographic region in or near Russia at the moment. If this is so, you may need to try using a VPN to work around the issue:
