Hi there, is there a way to remove the following section in the anki ‘add’ window?
Also is there a way to change the minimum size of the window? It’s currently a bit too big for my screen and wanted to make it smaller, are there any addons for this?

Does Preferences > Appearences > User interface size works for you?
I think there are zoom add ons but are either outdated or doesn’t work for this screen.
What part of the controls and formatting buttons do you want to remove? Or do you want to remove all of it?
The window will maintain the size you last adjusted it to. You can make it smaller.
I want to remove all of it! Basically everything including the ‘note type’ and ‘deck’ buttons, i use the quick notes and buttons addon and just want to keep that.
Nup it doesn’t, i can only make the size bigger but not smaller unfortunately.
There may be add-ons that will do that, but no, you can’t do it with native Anki functionality.

I think this addon 1786556550 can help you, it puts a zoom button in the editor, it doesn’t remove it, but it can reduce the size there
