I just wanted to say thanks for some of the latest features added to Anki, after using the new version for a month.

  • The load balancer is great! I didn’t even realize I wanted this but it feels really pleasant, not having big spikes in reviews from one day to the next.
  • The “Daily Load” and “True Retention” stats are useful both for my own curiosity, and to check that my FSRS params are producing reasonable results.
  • Improvements to the FSRS algorithm and optimizer are hard to notice in the short term, but I appreciate the work that goes into them, and FSRS continues to work well for me.
  • Various little UI fixes (like double-tap select on iOS) are also really nice!

i do wanna appreciation so i post here without making another thread.

however i am those that stick to old versions.

i am still on 23.10

and i very much suggest ppl to use the self host server function.

as my media collection is now about 400MB and i am adding more.
