Okay so after synching my cards with AnkiWeb, my again and hard buttons do not work. Last night I purchased ankihub monthly subscription, and synched it with my laptop. My cards synch, but somehow when I click again or hard, they go away as if I clicked good. This issue persists for all of my decks. I thought it was my laptop settings but I synched with AnkiMobile on my iPhone, those two buttons don’t work as well.
I haven’t modified any settings since having ankihub on my Anki Mac version. I’ve restarted Anki multiple times, restarted my MacBook, checked all my addons.
I’m very flustered and upset. I can’t afford to restart/loose my Anki decks as I’m too far deep into studying for my board exams for medical school. So far my only hope is that I don’t synch with my tablet and all four again, hard, good, and easy buttons work.

When you click again and hard, the buttons ‘do not work’ but the cards ‘go away’? Can you describe what, exactly, is happening? It sounds, at least to me based on the description, that the buttons are functioning.
Alternately, it sounds like it may be the learn ahead limit, though I can’t be entirely sure based on the description given. For example, if you have a learn ahead limit of 0 and you hit ‘again’ and the again interval is 10 minutes, you would expect that card to not appear again for 10 minutes. This is quite normal.
Arguably, if you just got a card wrong you would not necessarily want that card to reappear for review instantly. This would run fairly counter to spaced repetition, though there is room for nuance here and it’s been a topic of discussion.
Yes, it’s this. Likely one of the AnkiHub default settings you accepted changed this to 0 minutes. It might look like your cards “go away,” but they just wait for their entire step delay before they show up again on the red counter for Learn/Relearn cards that are available to be studied.
I don’t know what you had Learn ahead limit set to before, or what your learning/relearning steps are, but you can start by changing Learn-ahead back to the default of 20.
