When I add a new card, it does not follow the following position number and I need to keep changing positions every single time. For example, my latest card has a #90472 position number but when I add a new card it gives it a much higher number such as #1903829. Almost 1 million numbers of difference. I attach evidence below. After using the Reposition tool in the Cards menu to give all of your new cards a reasonable due number, Tools>Check Database from the main window will make Anki start giving out new due numbers one higher than the highest number you set.
